Amla powder is dried and ground Indian gooseberry. It is commonly available at Indian markets and online. It has very high antioxidant potential.

Steaming the kale for 5 minutes will increase calcium absorption. Allow it to cool completely in the fridge before using so as not to increase the temperature of your smoothie.

Sodium ascorbate is a form of vitamin C that is not acidic and can be consumed in high doses.

Chill the water by placing in the fridge overnight or mixing 80 g / 2.8 oz ice cubes with 420 g / 15 oz water.

Celery, cucumber, apple, strawberries and broccoli can be portioned and kept vacuum sealed.

Keeps in the fridge for 3 days.

Follow up with a handful of blueberries to maximise anti-oxidant intake.
